- QR Code Data: When using the QR code scanning feature, the App's camera captures the QR code image solely to decode the student ID contained within it. The image itself is not stored.
- App Permissions Data: The app requests specific permissions on your device to enable its features. We do not use these permissions to collect data beyond what is necessary for the function to work.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To Enable App Features: To allow for the uploading of student scores, scanning of QR codes, and downloading/printing of reports.

5. App Permissions
The EDFIX RESULTS app requests the following permissions on your device to provide its full functionality:
- Camera (`android.permission.CAMERA`): This permission is required for two purposes: (1) to scan student QR codes for attendance or identification.
- Storage (`android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`): This permission may be requested on older Android versions (Android 9 and below) to save downloaded report cards and other documents to your device's public "Downloads" folder. This permission is not required on newer Android versions.
6. Data Retention
We retain student data for as long as is necessary for educational and administrative purposes, and in accordance with our Company data retention policies and any applicable legal requirements.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is intended for use by Teachers and Administrator of Schools. We operate in compliance with laws regarding children's privacy. In the context of our company, consent for the collection of student data for educational purposes is managed through the school's official enrollment and consent processes with parents or legal guardians.
